As much as everyone loves Black Panther, I’m even more excited about the great shows that Netflix is offering. Netflix has revolutionized how people watch television. They have countless hours of shows, movies, and documentaries available with a monthly subscription. But everyone knows that by now. By sharing an account, I can see what my wife has been watching. In addition, I also found out how to read my wife’s text messages without having her phone by using an app, which you can download here.
What people always want to know is what new shows are out there. Watching a show ceaselessly on Netflix has received its own phrase. “Binge watching” refers to watching numerous episodes of a series in one sitting, without any breaks. In a world where there are tons of shows for women, many guys wonder what shows they can watch.
Best Netflix Shows For Men
The Last Kingdom
This is one of the best shows I’ve binge watched recently. It follows the story of a man who is raised by Vikings and Saxons since birth. It’s an incredible story that’s depicted really well, without the gratuitous violence or sappiness that many historical war epics have these days. Overall, it’s a very balanced series that’s one of my favorites. I’m just hoping there will be a third season!
This is one of the best superhero TV shows ever made, in my opinion. Arrow slows down a bit towards the last couple seasons, but the first few are pure gold. If you want something a little lighter than a heavy war epic, you’ll find it in Arrow, which is a tale of a billionaire playboy turned superhero after he was trapped on an island for five years. After I found out how to read my wife’s text messages without having her phone, I learned that she loves Arrow, too! This is another one well-worth binge watching.
This show is about English crime world in Birmingham in 1919. It’s got the flair and style of the 1920’s, mixed with Cillian Murphy’s great acting. He starred in The Dark Knight trilogy as one of the early villains. Now on its fourth season, this is another great Netflix show.
Named after Marco Polo, this was another one of my favorite shows to watch. It follows Polo’s service to Kublai Khan of the Mongol Empire, who was the grandson of Genghis Khan. This is another great historical epic that, unfortunately, ended after just two seasons. My wife was just as torn up as I was! I could tell from her texts to her friends, after I learned how to read my wife’s text messages without having her phone. Apparently, it was just too expensive to keep making, but it’s well worth binge watching.
The Punisher is one of Marvel’s latest feats on Netflix. It stars Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, the Punisher who first appeared in Marvel’s Daredevil series. This is a great show, but you should be aware that it’s more graphic than other Marvel shows.
Any of these shows are a good choice to start watching. If you’re wondering which ones you should watch next, start at the top and work your way down. Just don’t let Netflix keep you from being productive!
